Living with bipolar disorder can be a nightmare at times. The feeling of complete loneliness and isolation often times can make the fight to get through those highs and lows of a central nervous disorder almost unbearable.

No one, it seems, understands your pain of manic depression. No one understands the darkness associated with depression. No one understands the racing thoughts that torment you within a manic episode.

Finally, after you have weathered the storm and you reach stabilization, you out of the darkness and able to bask in the sun once again. But then you come to another hurdle – the stigma of society. Mental illness, including bipolar disorder, while discussed more openly now than in past years, is still looked upon with hesitation and judgmental eyes.

This can be all the more painful because it often feels as if the focus is misplaced. Instead of celebrating the victory, and recognizing the stress which you have fought through to get to this point in your life, those of us with mental illness are often forced to defend ourselves for the actions and behavior during our worst bipolar extremes. No one wants to hear about your psychotic life and how you became stabilized, but they want to discuss and dissect those periods of emotional stress and darkness from which each of us worked so hard to move away.

Do not get discouraged.

Focus on where you’ve been, what you’ve survived, and the journey of positive mental health and the emotional normalcy you now enjoy.

Accept that no one will truly be able to understand the path you have walked. You have fought your demons. You have conquered a chemical imbalance in your brain. Give thanks to those who have stood by you through the battle, continue to have faith, and put all negative influences and people behind you.
The climb out that deep chasm of a mental disorder is often arduous and painful. But through QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements you can finally become “normal,” and find stablity on the other side of the mountain.

Discipline of QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements

Following a particular protocol seems like any easy thing to do if the protocol is simply presented and understandable. But the dirty truth that no one tells you is, when you suffer the effects of a central nervous system disorder such as a bipolar disorder, discipline is the thing furthest from you mind. So…no secret, it takes discipline to follow the protocol for QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements, with their key anti-oxidants and other ingredients.

A central nervous system disorder sufferer trying intently to follow a single thought for more than five minutes can be a monumental chore. For someone with a bipolar disorder, ADD or ADHD, Clinical Depression and Anxiety to attend classes or to punctually appear on the job and stay “inside oneself” when others around are emotionally at their limits, takes a special perseverance.

Ned Bishop, founder of QuietMinds, LLC, has repeatedly been quoted that QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements are the final option for hundreds of people who felt they had run out of chances as they suffered central nervous system disorders, until they found QuietMinds Supplements. The inscription on the Statue of Liberty, “Give me you tired and huddled masses” seems to always apply to the QuietMinds participants.

For this reason the discipline needed to follow the QuietMinds protocol becomes easier when one is confident that taking these nutritional supplements may end, or at least minimize, the suffering of ADD, ADHD, Anxiety, Clinical Depression, Ausberger, Bipolar Affective Disorder and many mental disorders. QuietMinds, LLC continues to hear from happy customers who are learning about the positive effects they regularly receive from occasional augmentation to the QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements.

As an example, anxiety disorders are the most common psychiatric disorders in the United States today. They present as agitation, irritability, fearfulness, nervousness, shyness and feelings of “impending doom.” Such feelings are dramatically debilitating. Anxiety disorders can disrupt one’s ability to engage in a full or functional life.

It is quite common for the QuietMinds staff to hear that QuietMinds Supplements, have efficiently addressed bipolar disorders, ADD, ADHD or depression, but those also suffering from anxiety disorder are less likely, or more slowly, to respond to QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements.
With these reports ringing in our ears the QuietMinds investigators began to search for orthomolecular answers. QuietMinds constantly reminds it’s customers that QuietMinds Supplements is not an end- all, or cure all for any mental disorder. However, the claim that QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements have substantially stabilized bipolar disorders and the other mental disorders is unbelievably high. But, customer claims that QuietMinds alone, are as effective for customers with anxiety disorders are not as high. Why?

Soon, QuietMinds researchers found an interesting study by the chief medical officer and associate professor of clinical nutrition at Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Jonathon E. Prousky. He suggested that, “It appears that niacinamide has similar anxiolytic properties to that of benzodiazepines”. He goes on to present evidence offered by Mohler H, et al, who concurred in a 1979 article written for Nature, that “niacin is pharmacologically similar to benzodiazepines due to its presynaptic inhibition. ”

After reviewing twenty-three other articles and studies which indicated the same primary conclusions, QuietMinds customers were informed of the findings. Many subsequently began to augment QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements with dosages of niacin (Vitamin B3). Their responses have been generally been very positive, with many expressing their feeling that for the first in years the anxiety disorder is manageable and the other disorders much more stable. Obviously, there are many customers who proclaim that the combination of QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements in conjunction with additional Vitamin B3 has insured their reason to proclaim themselves stabilized. QuietMinds, LLC makes no claim, but simply reports the responses.

The advertising people who work for the big pharmaceuticals and who are universally supported by the media, want us to think that vitamins have no ability to treat anything. We at QuietMinds disagree. But, if you buy into all of the media hype, you might even come to the conclusion that nutritional supplements are, in fact, dangerous.

Dr. Andrew Saul a prominent nutritional consultant ( has pointed out that it would easier to find a fin or scale from the Lock Ness monster than to find a confirmed, vitamin-caused death. In light of the Federal Food and Drug’s pressing call to the world to report to its offices the slightest possibility of any problem with a vitamin or mineral supplement, the occasions should teem. Yet there are no such reports.

Constantly, Dr. Saul issues the defying question, “Where are the bodies? My own personal search of the medical literature has failed to find one death proven to be caused by the public’s use of vitamin supplementation”. “If you find one,” he challenges, “please send it on to me. Remember please that I am looking specifically for proven instances, not hearsay, I don’t want to hear such-and-such person, doctor, reporter, website or organization who makes a claim. Show me the coroner’s hard evidence.”

Meanwhile, with little effort QuietMinds editors found on the web that it is estimated that 44,000 to 98,000 deaths occur every year resulting from medical errors. (Institute of Medicine, To Err is Human: Building a Safer Health System”, 2000). “However, there are at least 100,000 deaths from pharmaceutical drugs each year in the USA, even when taken as prescribed.” (Lucian Leape, Error in Medicine, American Medical Association, 1994, 272:23, p1851.

Misprescribed medication is the cause of death in one out of every 131 outpatient deaths and 1 in 854 of all inpatient deaths a hospital report shows. And we at the offices of QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements found a Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine Australian study that suggests that between 2.4 and 3.6 percent of hospital deaths are due to a mismanaged medication event. It is estimated that as much as 69% of these were preventable. Glass houses?

In fact statisticians with the Orthomolecular movement report to QuietMinds, LLC that the American Associations of Poison Control Centers, which maintains the United States’ national data base from 61 poison control centers from across the country, indicates that even including intentional and accidental misuse, the number of vitamin fatalities is less than one death per year.

QuietMinds makes no claim of it’s efficacy or to the ability of the unique combination of vitamins and minerals and amino acids within QuietMinds to cure or treat any diseases or mental illness. Instead, we report the successes of Elaine and Kassidi Bishop and others. They remain convinced of the ability of the QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements too stabilize their bipolar disorders, as do hundreds of other people from around the world with central nervous system disorder, such as depression, anxiety, ADD, ADHD, bipolar and many other mental disorders.

An overwhelming majority of customers responding to the positive effects QuietMinds’ formula, relate no side effects from vitamins, amino acids and minerals, except better physical and mental health. And, most report feeling, generally much safer without the debilitating side effects which they have experienced from psychotic and psychotropic medications.

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human body, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.

Conventional physicians and psychiatrists treat chronic disease such as mental disorders with expensive pharmaceuticals that may temporarily relieve painful uncomfortable symptoms, often with agonizing side effects which can prompt additional serious problems. But, too, drugs do nothing to resolve the underlying cause.

Because nutrition affects the body’s immune system, organ function, hormonal balance and cellular metabolism, many of these chronic emotional disorders and mental conditions can be traced to nutritional insufficiencies. When the deficiency is not corrected, symptoms begin to appear and lead to the presentation of an emotional disorder or other mental illness.

QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements have been developed as a high quality supplement that can be used to deal with nutritional deficiencies. Orthomolecular psychiatry and its treatments for central nervous system disorders such as bipolar, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders and other addicitions have been with us for generations. However it was Dr. Linus Pauling, a two time Nobel Prize recipient, who first coined the phrase Orthomolecular in 1968.

Pauling’s definition was, “Orthomolecular Psychiatry is the treatment of mental disease by the provision of the optimum molecular environment for the mind, especially the optimum concentrations of substances normally present in the body.” Orthomolecular Medicine was expanded to be defined as “the preservation of good health and the treatment of disease by varying the concentrations in the human body of substances that are normally present in the body”. He sometimes appended, “and are required for health”, to this definition, and later noted, “the adjective orthomolecular is used to express the idea of the right molecules in the right concentration”

Many pharmaceuticals can be effectively replaced with multivitamin supplements under the administration of a good physician. QuietMinds, LLC works in conjunction with, and under the direction of, doctors who wish to make use of a pre-compounded, broad spectrum nutritional supplement, designed to assist in the orthomolecular stabilization mental disorders.

There is a misconception by some that nutritional supplements such as QuietMinds Supplements are not regulated. Before 1994, dietary supplements fell under the same regulations as food. But today, with the passage of the Dietary Supplements Health and Education Act (DSHEA) in 1994, the Food and Drug Administration has been granted authority to ban products that are proven to be unsafe, and does.

There is a concept out there among the majority of medical practitioners that vitamins are needed only in small dosage to prevent diseases of deficiency. Thankfully those numbers within that majority are steadily and rapidly decreasing.

The reason is that the reality of large dosages of vitamins are now recognized as effective, sometimes essential, in the treatment of disease other than those seen as vitamin deficiency diseases. Mental illness may fall into this category.

The first vitamins-as-preventative came as a result of the discovery that a vitamin (B3) in large dosages lowered cholesterol levels. This meant that mega dosing of a vitamin for a condition known NOT to be a vitamin deficiency disease was possible.

In a 2002 study, world renowned scientific researcher Bruce Ames with colleagues Elson-Schwab and Silver provided an explanation. Vitamins, it was reported, are converted into coenzymes, which combine with enzymes to carry on essential metabolic functions. If the ability of the enzyme to combine with the coenzyme is impaired, increasing the amount of vitamins will increase the amount of enzyme, thus overcoming the defect and increasing the reaction toward normal.

The basic concept of the vitamins-as-treatment paradigm are that optimum doses, which may large or small, may be therapeutic and extremely helpful or diseases that are not classical deficiency diseases. There are no toxic doses since vitamins do not kill, but the higher the dosage the more apt will be the development of side effects.

It is the awareness that conditions such as bipolar, depression, anxiety, ADD, ADHD, certain addictions and other mental disorders are due to genetic errors which cause the suffering, or having been created by prolonged severe malnutrition or stress, that led to the development of QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements.

The response to vitamins by customers suffering a central nervous system disorder depends on the relative condition of the sufferer. QuietMinds’ researchers suspect that all people in the deficiency area probably respond quickly to QuietMinds Supplements. However, after QuietMinds customers move into the dependency area, their response will be slower and less dramatic. This is because through QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements they have met the needs of insufficiency and now find themselves maintaining stability by continuing to meet the needs of their vitamin dependency with QuietMinds Nutritional Supplements.
